Sanjay Balraj Dutt was born on July 29, 1959. He is an Indian actor working in Hindi films. Sanjay received several awards, including two Filmfare Awards and three Screen Awards.

Early life and career
Sanjay Balraj Dutt was born in a Punjabi family in Mumbai.
His parents are actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis, and because of that, he made his acting debut in Rocky (1981), which was directed by his father.
He has two sisters, Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt.
His mom died in 1981, before the premiere of his debut film. After that, he started using drugs. When he was caught, he had to spend five months in prison.
The turning point in his career was the crime thriller Naam (1985), which was followed by many commercially successful films in that decade, such as Jeete Hain Shaan Se (1988), Mardon Wali Baat (1988), Ilaaka (1989), Hum Bhi Insaan Hain (1989) and Kanoon Apna Apna (1989).
Dutt earned nominations for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for Saajan (1991) and also Khalnayak (1993).
Off-screen work
Sanjay co-hosted the 5th season of the Indian reality shows Bigg Boss alongside Salman Khan.
It aired on Colors television from October 2, 2011, to January 7, 2012. He later revealed it was Khan who persuaded him to co-host that show.
Dutt also launched India’s first professionally organized mixed martial arts league alongside cricket team owner Raj Kundra.
Relationships
In the early 1980s, he used to be in a relationship with his co-star, Tina Munim. However, that relationship ended, and he married the actress Richa Sharma in 1987.
She was diagnosed with a brain tumor and died in 1996.
The couple has one daughter, Trishala Dutt, born in 1988. She lives in the United States with her grandparents.
