Bhuvan Bam was born on 22 January 1994. He is an Indian comedian, singer, writer, songwriter, and YouTube personality.
He is best known for his YouTube comedy channel BB Ki Vines.
In 2018, he managed to become the first Indian individual YouTuber to cross 10 million subscribers.
Bam is the director of BB Ki Vines Private Limited and a partner at AMB Youthiapa LLP, which is the company behind his channel merchandise.
Early life and education
Bhuvan was born in Baroda, Gujarati, to parents Avnindra and Padma Bam. His family later moved to Delhi, where he attended Green Fields School. He then earned a bachelor’s degree in History from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.
Bam started his internet career by uploading a video in which he lampooned a news reporter who asked a woman insensitive questions about the death of her son due to the Kashmir floods.
That video went viral in Pakistan, which inspired him to make his own YouTube channel in June 2015.
BB Ki Vines
BB Ki Vines is a YouTube channel created by Bhuvan Ban. It contains 2–8 minutes long videos depicts the life of an urban teenager and his conversations with his family and friends. Bam plays all the characters.
The channel has 19 million subscribers and is famous for playing characters such as Banchoddas, Sameer Fuddi, Titu Mama, Bablu, Pinki, and Mr. Hola.
All the videos are recorded using a front camera on the phone by Bam himself. He originally uploaded the videos to Facebook and then switched to YouTube.

In August 2016, Bhuvan released a music video called “Teri Meri Kahani.”
It was followed by “Sang Hoon Tere,” “Safar,” “Rahguzaar,” and “Ajnabee.”
Besides, he appeared in a short film, Plus Minus, alongside Divya Dutt. For that role, Dutt managed to earn a Filmfare Award.
In December 2018, he started a new digital series on his YouTube channel called Titu Talks.
It featured Shah Rukh Khan as the first guest.
Then, in 2019, he released the song “Ajnabee,” which gained over 11 million views on YouTube.
Bam recently recorded a video titled ‘Lifeline of Society,’ which encourages his viewers to raise funds for migrants in the ongoing covid-19 pandemic.
